Aerial Youth Combined Junior
FALL SESSION - September - December

Not sure your Aerial Acrobat will LOVE our classes? This single-semester, one-hour class lets them explore the world of Aerial without you committing for a full term. Not just about fitness and creativity, this one-hour class also teaches dedication, discipline, and focus. Students learn skills on multiple aerial apparatus such as the Trapeze, Hoop, and Silks. With a focus on safety as well as fun, youth are encouraged to push their personal envelopes and experience the thrill of success.
Students in the Fall Session participate in t participate in the Informal Student Showcase in December.
Aerial Youth Combined Junior
FULL TERM - September to June
14-17 yrs

Students learn skills on multiple aerial apparatus such as the Trapeze, Hoop, and Silks and then sequence those skills together to create something all their own. With a focus on safety as well as fun, youth are encouraged to push their personal envelopes and experience the thrill of success.
Students in the Full Term program participate in the Informal Student Showcase in December and the Under The Big Top student showcase in June.
Aerial Youth Combined Intermediate
FULL TERM - September to June
14-17 yrs
Pre-Requisite: Aerial Youth Combined Junior
In the Aerial Kids Combined Intermediate class, students begin to specialize. They can choose if they want to continue to train in all 3 apparatus, or if they want to just focus in on 2 of the 3. (Trapeze, Hoop, Silks)
Students in the Full Term program participate in the Informal Student Showcase in December and the Under The Big Top student showcase in June.
YOUTH TRAPEZE
Youth Trapeze Senior
FULL TERM - September to June
14-17 yrs
Pre-requisite: Aerial Youth Combined Intermediate with a focus on Trapeze

This class focuses on the specific skills of Aerial Trapeze. We build strength and flexibility and work specifically on the Trapeze. This class is a more intense learning environment than Aerial Youth Combined Intermediate and is designed to push students to excel on the Trapeze.

NOTE: Registration in our FOUNDATIONS class is mandatory for students enrolled in Senior or Advanced classes
Students participate in the Informal Student Showcase in December and the Under The Big Top student showcase in June.
YOUTH HOOP
Youth Hoop Senior
FULL TERM - September to June
14-17 yrs
Pre-requisite: Aerial Youth Combined Intermeidate with a focus on Hoop

This class focuses on the specific skills of Aerial Hoop. We build strength and flexibility and work specifically on the Hoop. This class is a more intense learning environment than Aerial Youth Combined Intermediate and is designed to push students to excel on the Hoop.

YOUTH SILKS
Youth Silks Senior

This class focuses on the specific skills of Silks. We build strength and flexibility and work specifically on the Silks. This class is a more intense learning environment than Aerial Youth Combined Intermediate and is designed to push students to excel on the Silks.

Youth Silks Advanced
FULL TERM - September to June

Pr-requisite: Acceptance into this class has technical requirements and is by invitation

AERIAL FOUNDATIONS
Full-Term
9-17 yrs
Some of the hardest elements to build great technique in are the foot-lock and climbing in silks, and inversions on any apparatus.
​
This class is designed just for those challenging skills to help students progress in their regular technique class more easily.

NOTE: Registration in our FOUNDATIONS class is mandatory for students enrolled in Senior or Advanced classes
DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP
Students 13-17 have the opportunity to join our Leadership Team.
Spectacle Blue Mandate
​
The Youth Leadership Program is more than just an assistant teacher program, it is a program designed to help to build stellar kids into stellar adults, we just use Circus as the vehicle for learning and practicing these leadership skills. At Spectacle Blue, we believe that leadership is about learning about ourselves as much as it is about helping others learn about themselves. Leaders are life long learners!
There is no fee to participate in the Youth C.I.R.C.U.S. Leadership Program, but there are commitments that we require be honoured by both participants and by parents. It takes a village to raise these aspiring and inspiring youth into leaders and mentors in their community.

Becoming a part of the Leadership team means we have the opportunity to give back to our circus community, share our passion for circus and inspire those around us. We leave an everlasting impression on the lives of those we meet.
